How the TRX Exchange Works
Tron Exchange lets you exchange TRX for another cryptocurrency or send crypto to receive TRX in your TRON wallet. A standard order starts without creating a trading account: choose a direction, review the quote and use the deposit instructions issued for that order.
The receiving asset and its network are part of the exchange you select. Changing a network label in your wallet does not change an existing order or convert the token you hold.

Choose the Assets and Their Networks
Begin with the cryptocurrency you can send and the asset you want to receive. Select the sending and receiving networks for your exchange before entering a destination address.
TRX uses the TRON network. USDT and USDC require particular attention because the same ticker can refer to tokens on different blockchains; use only the network available in your order. An address that looks familiar is not sufficient evidence that the destination accepts that token.
For example, buying TRX with USDT starts with your USDT sending network and ends with a TRON receiving address. The opposite TRX to USDT exchange starts on TRON and requires a compatible destination for the selected USDT network.
Read the Quote Before Creating an Order
The quote sets out the sending amount and the cryptocurrency expected at the destination. Check the receiving amount, applicable costs, rate mode and payment conditions together rather than comparing the headline rate alone.
| Rate mode | Service charge | How the rate is determined |
|---|---|---|
| Floating | 0.39% | The exchange rate is calculated when the exchange is executed |
| Fixed | 0.89% | The quoted rate is held subject to the order's payment conditions |
The fixed option provides an 11-minute payment window. Follow the deadline and deposit requirements displayed for the order; a late or different payment may require a new calculation or support review.
Service and payout network costs are accounted for in the receiving quote. A fee charged by your own wallet or the platform sending your deposit is separate: check whether it is deducted from the amount you intend to send.
Prices on the TRX market data are reference values. They do not reserve a route, replace an executable quote or guarantee the amount an exchange will deliver.
Enter the Receiving Details and Pay the Deposit
Copy the receiving address from the wallet or platform intended to receive the payout. Confirm the asset, network and any additional recipient field before creating the order.
Some XRP destinations require a Destination Tag as well as an address. Use the recipient's instructions and the fields in the order; a tag taken from a different account can prevent correct crediting.
Once the order is created, use its deposit address and payment instructions. Send the specified asset on the specified network, retain the transaction hash and save the order link or identifier. Do not send a test amount or split a deposit unless the order explicitly permits it.
Follow the Deposit and Payout Separately
A transfer appearing in a wallet, being included in a block and meeting an exchange's deposit requirements are different events. The order must recognise the deposit and obtain the required confirmations before the exchange can proceed.
Allow an estimated 5–17 minutes for exchange processing and payout submission after the required deposit confirmations. Source withdrawals, blockchain confirmation and receiving-platform crediting are separate stages. Network congestion or a payment review can extend the overall wait.
| Order stage | What it means |
|---|---|
| Waiting for deposit | The order has been created and is waiting for payment |
| Confirming | The deposit has been detected and its required confirmations are being checked |
| Exchanging | The assets are being converted under the applicable rate conditions |
| Sending | The payout is being prepared or submitted to its network |
| Completed | The payout has been submitted successfully under the order's completion conditions |
Use the payout transaction hash to distinguish an exchange delay from a receiving platform's crediting delay. For help reading a TRON result, see how to check a TRON transaction.
If the Payment Does Not Match the Order
Stop and contact support if the address, amount, token or network differs from the instructions. Sending another payment immediately can complicate the review and does not automatically correct the first transfer.
- Expired order: request instructions before sending a late deposit or paying an old address again.
- Underpaid or overpaid order: provide the transaction hash so support can compare the payment with the order.
- Wrong asset or network: recovery depends on the networks, address access and processing provider; it cannot be guaranteed.
- Payout missing from a platform balance: check the payout hash, receiving network, address and the platform's deposit conditions.
The support page explains what to include in a request. Keep your seed phrase, private keys and wallet passwords out of all messages. Details of orders that require additional checks are covered in the AML Policy.
